Welcome to my website!
I am interested in research, development, and entrepreneurship within the broad area of computer architecture and digital hardware design. My current emphasis are in high-level hardware design abstraction and synthesis, as well as FPGA prototyping and emulation of computer systems.
I am currently a co-founder of a start-up that commercializes the patent-pending transactional specification and synthesis technologies that came out of my PhD thesis work.
In 2010, I received a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), under the guidance of Prof. James Hoe.
At CMU, aside from my PhD thesis project, I was also involved in the ProtoFlex and TRUSS projects, and was a part of the Computer Architecture Lab at CMU (CALCM).
Prior to CMU, I received various degrees (2 masters, 4 bachelors) from Oregon State University.
